I love KOAs and I know it's the beginning of the year, but you could of cleaned all the bird crap off the porch and picnic tables, and please stop advertising that creek is fishable that creek is dead it needs turned over and cleared of debris so it can clean itself. And take better care of the animals the horses need brushed down at least once a month,( * you could make money to take better care of them by offering carrots or apples in store to feed them:-) people where nice and friendly. I will be back.

Horrible Camground, Horrible Management, If you have the choice to stay in a Walmart parking lot or this KOA, Id choose the Walmart.

I struggle with giving this place 2 stars. Theres many positives and few negatives about this KOA, but the negatives make me not want to return; thus the 2 star rating. The positives areits clean. Many of the sites have unique features including fireplaces, fire rings, and swings. The staff seem to be very friendly. I believe they have other amenities but I didnt use them. The first off putting feature is the guidelines. I think the humor is intended, but it was a little extra on the humor and has a rude connotation when your experience here, like mine, was not the best. Explicitly written is no golf carts we travel a golf cart, so before we parked, I called and asked if I could park it outside my camper because I convert the garage to an office. I was granted permission, but the very next day, my husband recorded a rude text message about the golf cart anyways. There are no bathhouses or dumpsters reasonably located to our site (near Camping World). They say that they pick up trash daily, but in the 10 days I stayed here my trash was not picked up 3 of 4 times and sat out all night. The guidelines want you to take it to the dumpster after 11 am. Mine was placed out at approximately 7 AM every time and still not picked up. I need a total knee replacement and couldnt walk it to the dumpster and I couldnt take it away on the golf cart without breaking another rule, so it did not get picked up. Thankfully, no rabid animals got into the trash-as this was suggested as to what might happen in their guidelines. My spouse was working 12 hour shifts, so Im without a vehicle during daylight hours and Im not going out at freezing temps at night because the park didnt follow its own rules. Also, there are these wooden poles at the each site to navigate with a big rig. We didnt have trouble navigating but I can see this being a problem for some big rigs. The park is gated on both ends.. one remains open 24/7. You do have road noise and camping world flag noise on most sites, so if you need quiet, this is not your spot. I got used to it and it was not a bother for me. The internet connectivity is also above average. I think this would be a great place for families in warm weather. Its just not the best if you struggle with mobility issues and want to take advantage of the facilities because the rules are no motorized vehicles of any kind. I maybe would have had a different experience if I had spoken up about my mobility issues, and had an opportunity to explore the place.
