image Seeing these troll reviews bugged me so I’ll leave a REAL review from an ACTUAL former student.
With that said it’s been several years since I trained here so some things might have changed.
What is taught here is Kenpo. It is a hybrid of Tae Kwon Do and American Kenpo but it’s still kenpo. You’ll see and be taught many kicks that aren’t used in traditional kenpo but have their uses, almost all kicks used in kenpo are low and go to the body, groin, or knees the higher kicks are pretty but not practical because it leaves you open for too long.
So with that being said let’s get to the nitty gritty.
Pros-
-VERY community and family oriented
-Owners are wonderful people that really care about their students (and former as well)
- Great kids program
- Phenomenal basics focus and teaching you will not get a better foundation at any other school in the area (I would suggest training here even if you only did it for a year and moved on to another art or school).
- Cleanliness school is always clean and no funny dojo smells.
- Equipment is well maintained and clean
- Family viewing area that you can clearly see the class in its instruction (I’ve been to several where you can only see a small portion of the mat, or they don’t have any area to observe)
Cons:
- No instruction once you earn a green belt (I’ve been told this has changed but I can’t say for sure)
That’s it for cons, so weigh the pros vs cons, which if it has changed and you get full instruction after earning green belt there is no cons.
If the school was as terrible as the 1 stars would lead you to believe they wouldn’t have lasted almost 10 years.

image In the 2+ years my son has been going to 360 he has grown in confidence, strength, skill, and leadership. They truly treat you like family and come along side you as a help during different seasons of your (kids) life. My son is now advanced enough to be able to help with the smaller kids and is learning leadership and responsibility in a very tangible way. After 2+ years he is still excited to go to the dojo 2-3 times a week.

image I was looking for a place for my kids and came across his place. The reviews are deceiving you can see where one bad review was given, the owner flips out, then you can immediately see him or someone brigading to try and hide the bad review.
He even talks in a condescending tone in his replies here and his Facebook page if they aren’t a positive one. After digging into the owner and place I’m glad we went elsewhere one of the big things that is supposed to be taught is self control and not to let people manipulate you... which you can see in reviews he has failed badly at this.
AOKKA, their certifying organization which is supposed to be run by Jim Pitts, I can not find any information on them so I’m not sure if it’s a made up one or a legit organization like Tracy’s, IKKA (Ed Parker’s), or LTKKA (Larry Tatum Kenpo Karate Association).
Best I could find is Jim Pitts who is (at least the time it was wrote) was 5th Dan in Tae Kwon Do and 3rd in Kenpo. Here is an exact quote from someone in 2011 on kenpotalk forums
“ I've had the opportunity to study with a black belt of his (briefly) named Jim Pitts, and he teaches Kenpo mixed with a bunch of Tae Kwon Do. He only teaches three techniques per belt, and has tons of kicks and combinations to learn instead. He calls it a form of American Kenpo, but....”
Make an informed decision before signing up for a martial arts school and check everything out, I’m glad I did.
