A waste of time. I opened a checking account over a month ago. Then I was informed that my account was frozen due to an unpaid balance with another bank. I was told that if I took care of that unpaid balance within 30 days, Fifth Third would remove the freeze on my account. I took care of that balance and had a receipt and account balance sheet to prove it, instead Fifth Third closed my account. I brought in the documents to prove the account was taken care of. The manager told me he would love to have my business. Yet no one contacted me to follow up. Not even to tell me that they were still waiting on word from higher ups. Just be genuine with me. Dont waste my time. I appreciate honesty and communication. Not the run around and silence. When I dont receive any communication, that tells me that my business is not wanted.

called an hour before they close to make sure there coin machine was working and was told yes i drove over to the location and was not allowed to use the machine because they were closing. i chose fifth third back because of the coin machines i might close my account because they are not fixing the coin machines.
