The Penthouse at Grand Plaza

Extremely rude people. Gave me scammer vibes so I cancelled my booking and never stayed. I honestly felt like this is the kind of place that will lie or find any reason to keep your deposit after you check out (and its a HUGE deposit). Plus their attitudes are horrible from the start. Great stay with a great view. It was very cold but you could stay in the room and never need to leave. Good food nearby and via delivery. The fireplace was a nice touch during the cold month. It was extremely quiet in the building, you could only hear the wind most of the time. Grocery store is below, so there is no need to carry any bags far, if you seek to make breakfast within the room. All essentials were provided. We could walk comfortably from the penthouse to different tourist locations. There was some wear and tear with the property but nothing that took away from the stay. My only complaint would be that they need an updated front rug because it did cause us to trip over it a few times-- most likely from the door hitting it often. They had a cute little guest book for everyone to sign. I would likely give it more of a 4.5 than a 5 star rating because nothing is ever really perfect, but I would not downgrade it to a 4 to do so. I have no idea why any of the comments have said that they got scam vibes, I never once felt that way. Communication was great from before we got there to after we left. I would definitely stay at this location again.

I was scouting the internet in an attempt to find a penthouse for my husbands birthday and I came across what appeared to be an affordable location along with the amenities that caught my attention initially! I placed a call and the call was answered rather personal as if I was calling someones personal cell phone as opposed to me calling a business! My call was answered by Darnell, from the time of him answering the call he was distasteful, dismissive and disengaged! As opposed to him answering my questions, he redirected me to the website! It doesnt take a genius to determine that I initially viewed the website before placing the call! I immediately lost interest and terminated the call! His demeanor was simply repulsing! Ill continue with considering other locations that pride themselves on their customer service!
