I lived in one of Victor's buildings for three years. The only reason I left was because I was trying to pay less money in rent. Through those three years, Victor was consistently responsive when I needed help, my apartment issues were tended to quickly and effectively, the rent payment process was easy (Venmo!), and he was flexible throughout my move out process. I would definitely work with him again.

We attempted to rent a property from Victor Ayala of Blue Slate properties and were duped. Victor charged my wife and I $260.00 in application and hold fees for one of their apartments and then he basically vanished. He never got back to us about whether we were approved or not, nothing. After some pretty persistent phone calls and emails from us we finally got a hold of Victor. By this time, we had already rented a different apartment as our previous lease was up. I requested that Victor refund the money we paid him and he refused basically telling us that it was non refundable. He tried to blame a person named Gina from his office for not getting back to us but I'm guessing this is B.S. As of this review, Victor Ayala and Blue Slate Properties have refused to refund our $260.00 and have ceased contact with us. Based on our experience, If you see Victor Ayala or Blue Slate Properties names on anything, I'd steer clear and look elsewhere. Don't make the same mistake we did and trust these folks with your money.
