This is the worse apartment realtors in Chicago. Once you find a place on their website just go through the landlord. Not these people who make a hefty profit off of you signing a lease through them. Theyll tell you any lie you need to hear to get you to sign then youll be left handling their lies.

I love the layout of the apartment and the maintenance man is great. Actually getting through to speak with someone in the office has yet to happen in 2 years. Rent increases have been exorbitant and unreasonable. If I run AC and anything else in the apartment at the same time, the breaker goes. Electricity in the apartment is not adequate to handle 21st century living.

Do not rent here. Unresponsive staff about pests (rodents), trash, damaged front door, washer constantly flooding. Just not worth money and headache.

Mid-lease review: When we first arrived in our unit at 5343 North Damen our lock was broken and there was enough cigarette damage that we had to request extra cleaning, which they only provided after we sent them extensive videos of the damage in unit. They changed most of the blinds which was nice but did not take into account the bathroom fan filter or any of ceilings. I had to scrub the ceilings myself and purchase new fan filters and install them.Just got done dealing with neighbors who would fight for hours everyday. Finally something snapped and they moved out. But despite multiple residents within our building calling the authorities due to the escalation of the fights UE, and the previous owners Kass, would do nothing about these tenants.There is a single working washing machine for 12 2bedroom units. The other washer has been broken for months and has remained there unfixed. The property manager is extremely hard to get a hold of. Will only answer messages with one word responses or sometimes nothing at all. Have so few people working for this company that I was told I have to wait two hours for someone to come help me with a lockout. Unprofessional and too much hassle for communication. Will not inform you ahead of time when they are showing up for maintenance requests so might as well take the whole day off and just wait.Urban Equities isn't aware of what kind of units are inside the buildings/how they are billed as they asked us proof of restricted income in order to renew our lease despite us not being a restricted income unit. I have informed them of that and have still received no response after several weeks.
