If you are considering doing business with Betty Bauer at Lakeview Realty I'd highly recommend against it. She harasses her neighbors in and around Lakeview Realty constantly about dogs pooping on the astro turf she put in the terrace in front of her business. She claims to have spent nearly $3,000 replacing the grass with this fake astro turf despite it being on public property. I find it funny that she has a big advertisement on her front window about the fake astro turf that she offers to her clients so it's as if she's endorsing their product that she paid nearly $3,000 dollars for. (Perhaps she got it done for free?) On more than one occassion she has darted out of her business to verbally harass people who have dogs, even if they are picking up after them. After verbally harassing myself, and several of my roommates, friends, and neighbors, I asked her if she could tell me what kind of dog I had that was taking these revenge poops on her fake grass and she could not identify the dog. She claims that people smear the dogs' crap on her astro turf, therefore picking it up isn't good enough for her because they somehow vindictively smear poo on the grass and then it somehow finds its way onto peoples' shoes and into her place of business. She constantly complains to the 47th Ward Alderman Gene Schulter about all the businesses not being in compliance, and just about anything she sees fit. If you've ever had that senile neighborhood crazy lady who sits in her house waiting for things to call the cops about, that's Betty Bauer. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS WOMAN.
