    Transitioning to UrbanApple has been amazing, Machelle and Eliza have made me moving into one of their units easy and simple and they are always attentive to there tenants.

    It’s been 50/50 with these folks. 50% of the time when the issue is minor such as moving out/in, addressing issues with our back gate, or generally low-priority items they’ve been great. Unfortunately when it came time for them to advocate on our behalf and assist us with an issue we were having with our downstairs neighbor they were less than helpful in coordinating with our HOA to get the repairs done. In fact, they called me a liar and fabricated a story about our bathroom flooding so that they could save face in the context of a huge plumbing project using a crew they recommended. It was over a year ago, but I’m still out over $2k for an issue that was never determined to be a result of our action or inaction. When invited to our home to see the bathroom, nobody came over. What’s more, the pettiness of some of the employees there has resonated from this issue and seemingly influenced other interactions such as delays when seeking simple documents, responses to emails, and action were on a tuck pointing project that we did a special assessment for which raised our HOA fees and has barely begun. Prior to the aforementioned incident we were on great terms. Our advice? If you have the opportunity to work with these people be very careful what you say and do. They are most certainly there as a capitalist entity with little regard for how tenants are experiencing their issues. And don’t push back, otherwise you’ll be in the doghouse with us.

    Extremely unresponsive property management company. It was nearly impossible to get ahold of them when I needed them most. After a number of unanswered calls, text messages, and emails, I just gave up. Very unimpressed so far, but hoping they will get better.
