Devon Plumbing & Heating

My elderly father called Devon Plumbing (on a Thursday) as the building he lives in uses them on a regular basis (so he thought they would be responsive). The Devon person who answered the phone told my father he could have someone out to see his shower issue the Tuesday after between 1-4:30pm. He also told my father he would call him back the Monday before to confirm. No one ever called to confirm the Tuesday appointment and I saw the Devon van in the building’s parking garage on that Tuesday. I asked them if they had visited my father’s unit and they said ‘No’- they were going home. So my father called the Devon number again and the person who took the call said he didn’t know why the workers were not going to his condo. When my father called back again Tuesday and Wednesday and again Thursday, no one was answering the phone anymore. Devon Plumbing needs to see this review and realize the service they are offering their customers (especially the elderly who often worry) is despicable. There is no reason for promising a return call and a visit and having no one show up when you wait all day long for them. Then not answering the phones anymore thereafter. Get your act together Devon. We’ll now be bringing another Plumbing service into my father’s building.
