My husband and I inherited a house from my in laws about a year ago. The house is very beautiful but the bathroom and the kitchen were not so pleasant and outdated. We also wanted to stain the floors throughout our home a different color. We were in need of a general contractor who would be able to bring our home to the 21st century all while within a reasonable price. From a common friend of our family and my in laws, we got to know about Cornerstone. After our initial walk through and meeting Sidney Howell and his partner Barron, we knew we would most likely choose their company to complete our project. They both were very professional, competent and answered all of my husbands and I questions. On that day, we discussed everything. Sidney told us that we do not need to rebuild the kitchen, we could just remodel it and that would be enough. He told us rebuilding would cost a lot of money and it's unnecessary, instead we could just remodel and be in a reasonable price structure. That, to me and my husband, showed they had integrity and was a honest company, which was one of the reasons we hired them. We had 3 other contractors come in before Cornerstone who all gave us a quote for a build out, never mentioning all we needed was a remodel. Anywho, my husband and I COULD NOT believe the transformation, it is just amazing!! Sidney suggested we knock out the wall separating the kitchen and living/dining room area to create a open feel. It turned out unbelievable! The floors are to die for as well. Thank you Cornerstone for this job. We've gotten so many compliments. I love hosting family gatherings just to show off my kitchen LOL. Thank you so much.
