Daniel's Little Shop of Horror

BEWARE of Daniel Simonelli. In addition to his floral business, he used to be the owner of the Conservatory Loft, a venue in East Garfield Park for weddings and events. He was evicted over the holidays and kept that information from us for over a month, meaning he also wasn't replying to emails and calls about setting up a last walk through for our wedding that was just a few weeks away. 3 weeks before our wedding Daniel finally got back to us and informed us of his eviction and that he found us a new venue far from our desired location. We were very disappointed and reluctant to continue working with him, so we met with him to discuss our options. Daniel seemed cooperative and understanding that we wanted to move in a different direction and even assured us he would refund our deposit and the partial fee we paid. Daniel even signed a void of contract form. Daniel has since disappeared with our money, $4,000 to be exact, and has not replied to any emails or phone calls. We are not the only couple he has done this too, so be careful. Apparently, he is planning on opening a new wedding venue under a different name so be very cautious if you are considering working with Daniel

Everything that the previous reviewer said is true. He did the same thing to our prom. We gave him a deposit of $1100 and he has since disappeared. We’re quite distraught that we can no longer provide the prom we would have like for our students.

Daniel and his team over-delivered. He does a great job. You get what you're looking for and then more. He did an amazing job for our wedding.
