Shameful-money Hungary owners... Summer #6 here in Antioch California. Today 6/16/2021 100 degrease outside and no pool.
Last year we had a dirty pool and ice cold water. Last year during the COVID lock down we had minimal access to the pool, seems it was cold most of the year then at the end of summer they finally allowed for it to be heated.
Last year because of COVID we had zero access to the gym and club house.
The one thing hometown America didn't skip a heartbeat on and that was raising our property rent. That's right quite a few of the people here in the park lost their jobs and yet hometown America didn't bat an eye and raised the rates. Other parks in the bay area did not raise the space rents because they truly cared for the people in their parks and understood that some were going through hard times. This also included most of the apartments and houses.
I will give them credit they did wait until May this year to decide to resurface the pool. It has nothing to do with the manager that runs our park it has everything to do with Corporate.
My challenge to them is bring your mom and dad and grandparents and let them go into the conditions we have had to live for the past 6 year. I bet you wouldn't do that because it is beneath their standards of living.
They are in it for the money only and not to improve a thing. Can't wait to get out of here...

I live in Plaza Del Rey in California and I am begging HTA to reduce the Rental Fee to New Home Buyers. I’ve been here over 20yrs and CANNOT SELL MY HOUSE because of that Rent Increase to new home buyers. Plz hear my story and the many others, to REDUCE THE INCREASE TO NEW BUYERS. Thank You!!

Hometown america has purchased the property at plaza del rey in sunnyvale. They have adjusted the space rent to $2380.00 for any new buyer of a mobile home in this park. That is $28560 a year. TRUE GREED. All equity in homes has dropped at least $100,000.00 on every home. No business sense here. They expect you to pay 1 and 1/2 times your mortgage just for the space your home sits on. Thats a $1000.00 more than im currently paying. Ridiculous right? 40 homes cannot sell here, including the ones they own. Steer clear people. These owners are a "SPECIAL" kind of GREEDY and negligent to their communities. They truly show their hate for the homeowners in the community. Plus they sensor there facebook website of all negative posts. These owners are part of a problem, not a solution. Hope karma slaps justice right across their GREEDY face.
To reiterate from Hometown americas reply to my above paragraph post. My opinion is they are a cancer to this community. Do not buy from these leeches. Whether a home sells for 120000 or 250000, these scoundrels think people will pay 2380 a mo. Space rent. Not including the annual rent increase of $100.00, or 4 to 7%
No homes are selling here due to this GREED. They claim to provide a higher standard of living. Hometown america has no morales to provide anything. They provided nothing but problems amongst a flourishing community, by their GREED and FOOLISHNESS. We had a higher standard of living before they took ownership. Take heed people, they smile to your face as they stab you in your back and try to steal your wallet.
Hometown America is that type of California GREED that truly makes you throw up in your mouth just hearing their name.
