So, this review is about 2 years late, and will probably be lengthy, but it warrants it. I'm the senior large loss property claims adjuster for our Chicago branch and represent a few different insurance companies. I have 15 years of experience and have handled more multimillion dollar losses in the past 3 years than I have in my entire career. 2 years ago, Fredrick Sudekum and Flo Schumacher did an amazing job of a mediation we had which required months of preparation and they did their homework. I have worked with dozens of attorneys hired by carriers ONLY because they "worked with them before" and have performed okay at best and who did NOT do their case law research. Why am I posting this review 2 years later? Because I didn't have enough experience to know how good of a job they truly did until working with a dozen + attorneys since then. Now if you are an attorney reading this and are currently working with me, this does not pertain to you in any way. The unsatisfactory ones 100% know who they are and why. I just had a large loss mediation with another attorney out of Ohio who did a fine job as well, however I wanted to be sure that credit is given where it is due.
