Del Prado Apartments

Bug infested building with roaches. They may spray your apartment but they will refuse to spray your neighbors apartments leading to the issue never being resolved. Don't live here unless you enjoy having pests for roommates. I've called them about these issues numerous times and they don't respond.

Paola is one of the most helpful and kind people ever. She has been so helpful during our move into the Del Prado. From assisting us getting our keys, to showing us around the building, to telling us more about the neighborhood. She is truly a blessing and I am so grateful for all the effort she puts in.

Tamia is very rude and shes not a people person, I was here visiting my daughter and dont smile shes have a very smart mouth and my experience with her wasnt good at all.

WARNING - this company is trying to silence negative reviews and flagging them, and trying to deny it I lived in Del Prado from 2019 - August 2022. Living at Del Prado has been one of the worst mistakes of my life. Here's my story: Starting in 2021, I suddenly started escalating negative experiences with a very rude and inconsiderate neighbor (recently moved in) that made living very uncomfortable. The issues were loud noise and music late night/early morning, instances aggressive domestic arguing, and leaving trash outside. In one instance, the fighting was so aggressive and loud, that a neighbor felt scared enough to call the police. Unfortunately, the police mistakenly come to my door due and questioned me about suspected domestic violence. I felt scared, confused, isolated and alone. I felt like I was living next to unstable and violent individuals, who would have moments of explosive anger that disturbed our whole hallway. I felt so afraid that the next grenade would be targeted towards me. This extremely uncomfortable situation continued and escalated over 6 months. When this neighbor would play loud music and I would complain to the front desk, the neighbor would either not answer the front desk calls or would crank up their music even louder. The front desk would then say there is nothing else they can do, and that resident care needs to handle this. And when I talked to resident care, they would say front desk needs to handle this. It was all so maddening and disrespectful. I felt ignored and worthless. Not only did Mac not do anything to help this situation, but they actively sided with them. I feel very bad for the families here. I've seen a few of them on my floor only stay a few months, thinking that this is family-friendly place (it is not). (FYI I'm on the 10th floor - stay away from there especially) UPDATE 3/20/22: After working with the suggested Care team" for the last 3 painstaking months, I would update my review to 0 stars if I could. They would constantly ignore my issues complaints, degraded me, and even called me being "overly sensitive". The front desk team would constantly blame the resident care team, and they would in turn blame and point their fingers back at the resident care team. It was clear to me there was dysfunction and an inability for these two teams to work together. There is no way I would ever do business with anything Mac-related again. I would never support such a disgraceful company who cares so little about your well-being. UPDATE 8/30/22: It took me many months, but I finally was able to plan my escape from this hell. Now that some time has passed, I believe I can think more clearly and think back about my past experiences. I still believe in every word that I said. Living here has made me realize that Del Prado was worst placed I ever lived. That Mac properties was worst business I've ever had to interact with. And that the last year has been the worst year of my life so far. Hopefully sharing my experience will help save at least one person from having to go through the 10 months of hell I went through. Please do not support this place or any properties managed by Mac Properties. Hyde Park will be a much better place without them. (See more details in my Mac Properties google review)
