Words cannot describe how phenomenal my experience with Pend Oreille Midwifery Services was.
I was afraid to go through a pregnancy and birth. Denise and Rachel met me in those fears. They got to know me and gave me tools ranging from empathy and kindness to education and the utmost quality of care. They truly empowered me.
I will be forever grateful for these two incredible women and the role they've played in my life and in the life of my beautiful healthy baby boy.
I cannot recommend Pend Oreille Midwifery Services enough!

I am so amazed at how awesome the women at Pend Oreille Midwifery. They made a very personal and very special experience for me. My husband was nervous to have a birth outside of the hospital, but when we went in for a visit to check them out he fell in love. They make sure to get to know you and have a personal relationship with each family that comes in. They help bring so much peace and positivity to birth. I know that my birth experience wouldn’t have been as good as it was without them.

I had my fourth son (first out of hospital birth) with Pend Oreille Midwifery. I absolutely loved my birthing experience. At the very first appointment, they asked me what my ideal birth would look like then they spent the rest of the pregnancy helping me prepare and achieve that birth. I felt cared for, informed, and empowered when I had my baby. I couldn't be more thankful for Denise and Rachel delivering my perfect baby boy

I loved my birth experience and would definitely recommend any of my friends or family see Denise and Rachel. Everything is personal and I constantly felt comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you so much for helping me have the birth I wanted!!

I can't recommend Denise and Rachel highly enough! I've been to another midwife and doctors both stateside and overseas with my two previous births. And they are hands down the best and my favorite providers I've ever been to. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable, leaving no doubt that we were in good hands. They planned ahead proactively to possibe risks, and reacted well to situations at hand. Yet they were caring and kind and took the time to also build relationship and trust. After my previous birth experiences in hospitals, I still dreamed of a positive natural birth experience, but was afraid of labor and not sure if I could do it. They encouraged and supported me all the way, while not belittling my fears. My only regret in having them as my midwives is that I don't think any other providers will ever measure up if we have future pregnancies (we had to move away from the area). If you are blessed enough to live within their area, don't hesitate to birth with these amazing women!
