B&B Builders and Subcontractors were very professional from the beginning to end during the add-on of an apartment/garage to our main house. They showed up with full crews, most of whom have been with the company for years, on-time and ready to put in a full day with a great work ethic. I strongly recommend against anyone going with B&B builders. By the time your home is finally built, every neighbor will already hate you, based on how John conducts his operation. Theyve not only severed electrical lines during excavation, leaving neighboring residents without power in the middle of winter, he just recently severed a gas line, warranting an emergency condition to surrounding residents. There proclivity for cutting corners gets them into these issues. Furthermore, I question this companies adherence to OHSA standards, which isnt necessarily uncommon in the construction world, but theyre clearing take it to another level. You never spoke to me because you have no concern for the residents you build around. In addition to the extreme inconveniences your company caused me, there are a litany of OHSA violations I observed when watching your construction project. 1. Not wetting the soil while you were doing ground work, creating a dust storm, thus posing a health hazard to the surrounding residents. Seems you were to cheap to get a water truck out there, FOR THE ENTIRE DAY. 2. Not marking or barricading open holes/trenches dug beside the road. Someone could have easily driven into one. 3. Excavating before doing thorough subsurface analysis. This is why you, or your subs, severed electrical and gas lines. The fire department had to evacuate all the residents from the surrounding homes when you severed the gas line. You severed the electrical one in the middle of winter, need I say more. The list goes on. It doesnt matter if you are using subcontractors for portions of your work, you as a company oversee the entire project. You should enforce rule and regulations. Commenting on my comment about how youre sorry I had such a bad experience doesnt remedy the situation. Youre merely trying to show that you responded, MORE THAN A YEAR LATER. My review
