We are new to the area and new to the school....and love it.  The school's urban location was a surprise to me, but I'm glad it didn't stop us from trying the school!  The teachers challenge the students and engage/adjust to their specific needs.  God's love in Christ shines through them to the students, each other and the parents.  Our son jumped forward academically, but I especially appreciate that they seek to know the kids well and hold them to higher behavior standards.  It is a Classic education.  The students learn Latin and long-hand.  Subjects are more integrated.  Also, they seem to have vibrant Biblical/spiritual discussions.

Our family LOVES and is greatly blessed by Zion Lutheran School. We had the great fortune to have 2 children attend in the late 90's and early 2000's. Our youngest son began attending in the Preschool 3 program and is currently a 6th grader. The education that all of our children have received and are receiving is a wonderful blessing to them.

Our son and daughter love Zion. We have nothing but positive things to say. We love the class sizes and how all the teachers know your child's name, even if they aren't in their class. Zion Lutheran School feels like family to us.

This is our first year at Zion and it has been amazing! When we prayed for the boys to be in one school that offered daycare before and after school, God answered that prayer! We were also looking for a school that honors God, teaches virtues, and focuses on family values. This Pk-8th grade school feels like family and made it easy for us to choose Zion for our kindergarten son and 7th grader. A place where they can make special friends for life. A place the boys can grow academically, socially, and spiritually together in one building. Soon as you walk through the doors, you can feel the love. Zion's decor is cheery and upbeat. Smiles and laughter can be found throughout the school. Small class sizes, great curriculum, excellent teachers and staff, art, music, PE, science, history, logic, Latin, chapel, bible study, PTF, field trips, and special events make a wonderful combination for a great school year! Combo classes are amazing and allow students to loop with their teacher and be challenged. We love Zion so much that we are praying that it becomes a PK-12th grade school very soon! Thank you Zion for being such a blessing to us and so many others in our community! Thank you Jesus for Zion!
