We stayed 4 nights in the Hibiscus room and absolutely loved our stay. Amenities like beach chairs, laundry room, and even a vegetable/herb garden were so appreciated. Pete was awesome and available if we needed anything. We hope to be back soon.
Rooms: Cute, clean, and great amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals so we didnt have to go out for every meal.
Safety: We felt super safe in this area as well as the vacation rental.
Walkability: Easy to get to beach and several restaurants on foot.

We love staying in the Macadamia suite, the views are spectacular, especially in the morning and evening, looking out over the ocean and mountains from the balcony. It's a quick, beautiful walk to the ocean and Poipu Beach, where you can enjoy seeing the monk seals & sea turtles chill on the beach and dolphins jumping out of the water in the morning all while the sunrises. At sunset, you can witness several sea turtles swim to shore to relax on the beach. I like to say, this is our "home away from home." Everything is above and beyond our expectations; accommodations, atmosphere, service, cleanliness, privacy, safety, parking, access to Poipu Beach and local restaurants. We will continue to make this our vacation spot. Mahalo Pete for making us feel like part of your family.
Rooms: Macadamia suite is the full package. Nice open concept with plenty of windows and sliding doors. You get a great westward wind in the evening and can hear the waves crashing on land. The bed is spacious and pillows are very comfortable. Usually, when I travel, I get back and neck pain from the bed, Not the case here! Slept like a baby.

Pete charged my mother three times for her stay, for a total of $6,800. He hasn't been able to explain what happened, though he did issue a partial refund for 1,800, and we were able to get a charge back for another $2,690. I will be reporting this to the FBI field office and local police. I wanted to give Pete a chance to correct his error before I did so; instead, he became apoplectic, further incriminating himself via text message, which I have on file for my records. Im certain this business will be shut down in due time.

Petes a great host. This place is very well located. We enjoyed a lot walking around, specially at dawn to see the turtles returning to the sea after resting on the shore of Poipu Beach. The south side of the island is beautiful. This is a great place to stay.

We were fortunate enough to spend 3 weeks at this beautiful bed and breakfast! We had to leave Maui quickly due to the fires and the owner Pete was most accommodating to us! His local information was very helpful to us. The breakfast was excellent in a lovely setting! The old plantation home is lovely and well appointed! We enjoyed the quick stroll down to the beach and the lovely mature landscaping on property. Pete provided nice beach chairs and towels for our days excursions. This place is truly a hidden gem and we hope to return to Poipu Plantation for many years to come!
