These ratings are based on a scale of bad McDonalds to good McDonalds. My five-star ranking of the food is not an impugnment of Michelin-star dining.
It's usually as good as any fast food place, but something is going on there recently. I ordered and paid for three hash browns with my breakfast order; zero were in the bag. I went back through the line and let them know what happened and that I understood. This stuff happens, I wasn't going to get mad about it. But then they only gave me two, not the three I paid for and went through the line twice to get. I wanted those hash browns badly. Still not mad, just perplexed.
You got me again, world.
Coworker had something similar happen to her two days later at the same location. Probably just a new trainee; or someone got fed up and quit, leaving them shorthanded.
There was also a strange conversation at the payment window. The guy kept asking me polite questions about myself after I had paid, gotten my receipt, and had multiple cars behind me waiting to pull forward and pay. Not a problem, just perplexing.
The food I did get was hot and tasty, well-prepared, and well-packaged. The employees were friendly. Couldn't ask for more--except one more order of those hash browns.
