My garage door lift cable snapped, trapping my car in the garage. I called John Takase Doors & Service that morning and he had his workers at my home within several hours. They fixed the door to make it operational again within an hour, cleaned up after and were very courteous and professional. I scheduled for a new door replacement two days following the repair. His workers, Johnny and Whitney, were right on time, were very professional, courteous, fast, and cleaned up everything before leaving. John's price was very reasonable and I was amazed with the prompt professional service. I am very pleased with my new garage door and highly recommend this company.

I had my garage door motor, springs, sensors, etc. replaced earlier this year. My experience started with a rookie installer coming to do the service. At first everything seemed fine with the installation. It was a few days later that I had an issue with the inside garage door opener. It literally stopped working so I called Takase to have them come and check it out. The two service techs noticed right away that the wires leading to the controller were stapled through creating a short. They remedied this issue in no time and all was good. A few months later my garage door intermittently starts to not close fully without holding the button down. When I called back, I was told that the sunlight might be affecting the sensors, preventing it from closing. Ok, I must admit, I was a little skeptical but it is a valid reason after doing some research. Never had this issue with my old setup. I called back to request service to make sure nothing else was wrong or if something could be done. The person who took my call seemed a little annoyed and sacarstic to me. The tone was not befitting of a company with good customer service. The appointment was scheduled and I expected someone to show up. Unfortunately they called and said they were still on another job so they would not be able to make it. Ok, like magic the door starts to work again. I admit I should have pursued this more but I was a little fustrated with the service already so I lived with this issue till now. I hired another garage door service company to check my system. They replaced the sensors, and found multiple staples going through the wires, well more than 4 and these were flat staples, not u shaped ones normally used for wiring installation. Long story short, I won't recommend your company to folks even though I have used you for over 10 plus years and had a couple motor and spring replacements done during the past. I run a business too and customer service is most important to me. For some reason, your has gone down the tubes.
