Came here for Kawaii Kon. I go each year, but I will say, this past year the event center itself was amazing. Compared to previous years, this past convention was amazing due to the awesome people at the center. Always 10/10

We experienced the kawaii kon exhibition. Enjoyed the expanse of the facility with all the vendors, anime characters. I'm glad I went. I was put off though by the concession stand. The food was so expensive! We had Acai bowls, and onomonoyaki fries, which were delicious, but the water, which I know costs about 70 cents was $4, and the lemonade was expensive too!

I went to the convention center to attend the annual anime convention Kawaii Kon, as I have every year. For some reason, this year was significantly unpleasant in comparison to years previous. The parking and pedestrian control was atrocious. There were many rules enforced by the convention center were inconsistent as there was a simultaneous cheerleading event that did not have to abide by the same rules. Such as "no outside food or drinks," as well as a metal detection protocol.
The water coolers during the event were only replaced twice each day, and 2 of the 3 food vendors shut down early which resulted in extensive lines and rushed food quality with a side of unpleasant attitude from the overworked vendors. The escalators weren't well maintaineds as they would suddenly stop and many people were close to falling over.
The only positive I can confidently support is that the bathrooms were very clean and well taken care of all weekend.
