My husband called A1 last night about 5pm when we had water pouring under our house and in our kitchen. He said he was just getting off work and would call back in the morning. This is completely understandable as it was that late and we understood. Unfortunately, we had water all over our kitchen. Another plumber was able to come out last night and get it fixed for us, with both him and my husband being up til almost midnight fixing the leak and my husband being up til almost 3am trying to get all the water cleaned as we have 2 small children that would need to get ready for school this morning. When A1 called back at 8am this morning my husband explained we were able to get it fixed and all A1 could do was complain that because of us he missed out on money from 2 other people and we should have been responsible enough to call him last night and tell him. My husband apologized profusely and explained the situation again. A1 continued that we made him lose money and attempted to berate my husband. I will never, under any circumstance call or recommend this company. I understand it’s a business, but to act that way is unprofessional. Icing on the cake is another company we called that couldn’t come last night said they were happy we were able to get it resolved and if we needed anything please let them know. First Choice Plumbing will definitely be the company we use after how A1 acted.
In response to the owners below response, which clearly demonstrates my review was not actually read in it entirety, the reason for the 1 Star and poor rating is due to the way my husband was treated the next day when the owner acted unprofessional and rude when we explained that we did get another plumber out to fix the issue. Continuously telling us that we are irresponsible because we didn’t call him the night before to let him know we had someone come out and we caused him to lose out on money is unprofessional and rude. Trust me, if I could rate lower I would. This is quite a fair rating for berating a potential customer due to the fact that we were able to get the issue fixed without A1. A1 called at 8am the next day to see about coming out, nothing was ever agreed upon for us to use this company’s services, but yet we are responsible for loss of business? I don’t think so.
