The room seriously needs an air freshener, crumbs in the bed and I had to clean out the tub and clean the bathroom floor. The carpet felt grimey.

I booked my room ahead of time for a king but got twin beds. The first room they gave us was recently used. The phone cord in the other room was cut. The rooms smelled like cigarettes. They have papers on the desk stating that if you live within 30 miles of the hotel, you're local , and they are told to give locals twin bed rooms. It's discrimination. I paid more money for a king bed but got a smaller bed. The pictures say it all. I canceled further reservations and didn't even get a refund for my other canceled reservation.

The pool area was nice and clean along with the water in the pool. The rooms were not cozy, including the fact there was no carpet. The beds were not comfortable. The whole place could use some remodeling and updating. There was exposed plumbing under the sinks and tub wasn't clean. The windows still had the curtains and valances that were put in when the place was first built. The only plus was the friendly people that work there who did everything they could to accommodate us. I even witnessed the desk clerk helping a blind elderly woman navigate and find her room. It's also very close to the freeway and easy to find. If it wasn't for the wonderful people who work there this place would have gotten 1 star (or less if it was possible). Hopefully they will do some renovations soon.
