Superb rescue service for all stranded pets including chickens. They found a farm for these beautiful birds who were abandoned by irresponsible neighbors. Animal Control of Columbus responded immediately and were excellent in all respects from the receptionist to the animal specialist that came out at 10:30 to rescue the animals safely. Kudos to the whole team. Especially Ms Dee who helped us from start to finish. Turnkey is their middle name followed by care and preceded by love. First class service all around.

Went to the shelter yesterday to see one of the German Shepards they had that was very malnourished. I asked many questions about the dog and his background to get a better understanding of why he was so under weight. After speaking with the two women there I asked to see the dog and took him to one of the rooms. I asked to fill out a application on Rosco. They kept asking my age and telling me I dont look my age and would not let me pre adopt the dog. After dealing with that the two women then requested to meet my parents. I am a grown adult I have Owend my own German Shepards in the past Ive been on the search to adopt and care for another Shepard. They would not hold the dog for me in anyway or let me pay upfront for him until a parent talked to them. I then went up today to speak with them on getting things squared and they proceeded to tell em someone has pre adopted the Shepard after telling me they dont hold or allow pre adoptions. The people who pre adopted the Shepard sent in a application without even meeting the dog. This place is a joke they do not care for the animals as much as they advertise. The Shepard was not bathed and recked of feces all over him. The Shepard was very timid and scared towards the women that were handling him until I took him in my own hands into a room.I do not recommend this place to anyone looking to adopt a forever partner they judge you as soon as you walk in the door and are very rude.
