We traveled from Maryland and stayed at the PI to celebrate my 50th Birthday and attend the Womens Amateur of the The Masters. The moment we arrived we were greeted by Hank who is literally the Director of First Impressions at this distinctive hotel. Unfortunately the remainder of the interior staff struggles to maintain this level of professionalism. After dropping our bags we headed to the rooftop bar for a cocktail and small bite before heading downtown but they closed the kitchen 25 minutes early; as we started to walk off they rudely agreed to open the kitchen but wed have to take our food with us so they could lock up. No thanks, luckily we met James Searcy downstairs who graciously shuttled us to a great lunch location downtown. Later that evening we dined at 8595 where my steak came out grey and overcooked. The potatoes were cold and my husbands scallops were undercooked. We ended up taking a $250 dinner back to our room to be put in the trash by housekeeping the next day. The next morning we came back for breakfast and had the absolute worst experience waiting over 45 minutes for cold grits and undercooked eggs. We actually just got up and left. I immediately went to the front desk and explained the situation about dining to the Manager on Duty who informed me shed reimburse us for the dinner we paid but never called, emailed or got back to me. I then mentioned it to the Manager on Duty later that afternoon. He offered to do that plus a bottle of wine; again, no returned call, message on our room phone, note, nothing. We received our bill with no credit for our dinner issue as promised so I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk who said shed pass it along to Management..still no call. The bellmen at this hotel provide world class customer service and are the ONLY reason we didnt leave to stay with family over the weekend; being a Hilton Honors Guest means absolutely nothing to this hotel. We luckily received dining recommendations from a local and had the best dinners at nearby Abel and Brown and Brinkleys Chop House. Id avoid dining at this hotel at all costs!

Shockingly consistent poor service at every interaction. Understaffed, new hires learning on the job while the hotel is comfortable to overcharge for a mediocre experience. Diamond status with Hilton made no difference. All staff were very nice & hospitable, but a rudderless ship.

We had an event in one of the ballrooms and the set up was beautiful, the staff was pleasant and very helpful. The food was also very good and well seasoned.

We stayed at the Partridge inn 20 years ago and had a wonderful time. We finally had the opportunity to stay there again and see if it still had its charm. I'm happy to say that it does. The manager, Harvey, personally ensured that we had a wonderful experience, and kindly upgraded us to an absolutely beautiful room. The rest of the staff were wonderful, as well. The restaurants on site were very good, if a little overpriced. Overall, we had an incredible stay. Best hotel in Augusta!
