If I could give negative stars I would. This woman is a SCAM artist. I paid over $2000 for a dress and belt in May 2019. I get emailed in October, after she ignored MULTIPLE emails and phone calls from me, saying that the dress was there, but it was the wrong size, it was two sizes smaller than what was ordered even though it was tagged for the "correct" size. Come to find out she had "ordered" the wrong size initially anyways. After about 3 weeks of messaging back and forth, I agreed to just try on the dress because she said that she thought it would be my size anyways, and she would take care of any alterations that would be needed. The day before I even get up there, I send an email to the address I had been corresponding with, and the email is no longer accessible. I go up there, and the dress does fit perfectly. After the email incident and her inability to answer a phone call, and the ongoing "we're moving locations, and not taking appointments" I panic and take the dress with me because I'm pretty sure if I don't I won't have a dress. When I leave with the dress I communicate with her that I am still missing my belt, and she tells me she will mail it out that day, November 16th. I get home and I start looking at the dress pictures I had from the first time I tried on the sample dress, and look at the one I came home with. IT WAS A USED DRESS! That is why the sizing was different than the tag, it wasn't the dress company. On top of this, I didn't get the belt mailed to me until Jan 6, after I begged her to get it to me earlier because I just wanted to be done and rid of the horrible experience. Well don't worry, she didn't send it out because she never bought it, it had to be shipped from the distributor directly, to the wrong address I may add. Thank God I had my mail forwarded, even though I was sure to give her my updated mailing address at the time of me picking up my dress. So lucky for me because I paid thousands of dollars for a dress and can't afford two of them, I get to be married in a USED wedding dress because of this horrible woman who has no reason to run a business.
I tried to contact the BBB, but because she refuses to answer emails, my concerns never got addressed, and the BBB advised for me to get a lawyer for the breech of contract.
Plus size wedding dress shopping is already a pain, let alone to be scammed, and stressed that the company you bought your dream dress from isn't going to deliver a product that you paid for. So if you don't want a used dress, a shady contact, STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM IVORY BRIDAL. Feb 17th, 2020

I found my dress! The experience was great, to finally be in a bridal shop where they had gowns in my size, didn't make me feel crazy like traditional shops. My consultant as well as the owner were super nice and actually listened to what I was looking for. Nov 1st, 2019

I had a good experience at Ivory Bridal but let me explain why I only gave 3 stars. First let me say that I was on edge after leaving a previous appointment where I just didn’t have a good experience at all. When we arrived it was at 1:45pm. 2 brides were in their appointments so we waited patiently. We had two appointments first was a bridal appt and then a bridesmaid appt. I didn’t get started with my first appointment until 2:30 ( my appt was at 2pm) and I felt so bad for the consultant because she was the only person working and was apparently overbooked. Once I got back in the changing room, the consultant was so down to earth and so helpful. I loved her, but during our conversation she expressed that she hadn’t had a lunch break because her schedule was so packed. Well because of the person that I am, I expressed maybe not doing our bridesmaid appointment to help her breathe a bit but she insisted that wasn’t necessary. Well, I purposely made our appointments for the end of the day so we would be the last bridal party but as I was trying on my last dress, another party came in, shocked I looked around like, well who are these ladies because we still need to do bridesmaids. Long story short, we ended up doing bridesmaids by ourselves with the front desk lady, very very sweet by the way but it wasn’t the experience I was hoping for. I might have said yes to one of those dresses but I just didn’t feel comfortable doing so during that time. I feel that it should be staffed with more than one consultant especially on a Saturday. Not sure if I will come back or not but I did adore my consultant she was amazing.
Hopefully if I’m back in town, it’s a weekday because I don’t see myself paying for trying on dresses anymore.
Thanks,
Sincerely the 2pm appt May 4, 2019 Oct 20th, 2019

So let me tell you why they deserve two stars. First, I came in with a budget which was super flexible but lucky I found the perfect dress in my price range after having to tell my entire life story of WHY I wasn’t going for the more expensive options. So they were helpful in that fact. I am curvy and was mislead into her store but I entered anyway after finding out they were black owned. So great I found a dress within my budget, $800 to be exact then once I went back in to get the alterations after a week and a half of waiting for an opening for the alterations lady, I got the most shocking news. THE ALTERATIONS IN TOTAL FOR THE DRESS THAT I PURCHASED FROM THEM BY THEM WOULD COST ME $700. I was so furious after asking of discounts since I purchased the dress from them, military discounts and any other discounts I could think of. They told me no so many times. So instead of continuing to do business with the black business that I bought my dress from, I took my business down the same street. Literally a mile away to a company where I met a nice oriental lady who did EVERYTHING they were going to do without me asking of any discounts for $225. They had my dress done 2 days after I brought it to them and it fits perfectly. I was appalled. So great in assisting me with a dress, selling me a dress them pretty much asking me to pay for the dress a second time KNOWING MY BUDGET and still attempting to push me into the thousands.
