The ONLY reason I'm giving such a high rating is because of Dr. Mordel. He is so kind, compassionate, and makes you feel like you are his only patient. My surgery and recovery went excellent. He held my hand until I went under anesthesia which meant so much to me. I only wish his office was closer to me.
The staff, on the other hand, are incredibly frustrating and infuriating to deal with and should not be handling patients. I felt like I was inconveniencing them when I came to my appointments and was met very cold with the person taking vitals and asking questions. The woman at the desk got mad at me for walking in without a mask when she wasn't wearing one herself. When it came time for my surgery and I had to do a magnesium bowel prep, the magnesium was recalled so absolutely no one had it. When I called for an alternative, the woman who answered the phone tried to gaslight me by saying she knew someone who carried it and I just wasn't looking hard enough. I had to apply for short-term disability so I could be off of work for the 6-week recovery period, but that was messed up because the person that handles this in the office put the wrong date for my return to work. So I had to apply for an extension just so I could get paid while I was off. I can't speak for everyone who is a patient here, but I almost died from an amniotic fluid embolism and had a 20-week stillbirth that was possibly caused by the very fibroid Dr. Mordel was removing, so this was a very sensitive, humiliating, and excruciating time for me. I have read several other reviews who say the same as me about this office staff. It would greatly benefit you to learn some compassion for your patients even if you have to fake it.

Words can't describe how grateful I am for Dr. Mordel, and his nursing staff. They throughly addressed all my concerns, and clearly laid out their policies and procedures. They treated me with kindness and compassion. After my hospitalization I was so worried about having to have 2 procedures, and preserving my fertility. I was referred to Dr. Mordel from one of his colleagues and he was able to robotically remove my large cysts, and fibroids in one surgery. My recovery was easy and I was able to start walking the day after my procedure. I highly recommend his services.

10/10 doctor. 10/10 staff. 10/10 office. For real, Dr. Mordel is AMAZING. So is the office and hospital staff! They listened to my concerns, got me into surgery, super nice and professional. Even if I don't have insurance and have to pay out of pocket, this man will still be my doctor. Couldn't have had an easier process and help.

I live in USA for 23 years and had difficulty to find a doctor to knowledge of who I can trust. Therefore, I had to visit OBGYN only when I am on vacation visiting my country. Until this year, when i had emergency situation with horrible pelvic pain/fever that lasted for a few weeks. After multiple visits to ER, and other doctors, Dr. Nathan was the one who gave me the right diagnose (now confirmed with MRI). Very important: He knows how to interpret ultrasound result!!!! Thank you, Dr. Nathan, now I am going to enjoy my vacation more because I don't have to visit OBGYN in my home country. Thank you again!!

I had fibroids, adenomyosis and early endometriosis and underwent a robotic partial hysterectomy on 3/10 performed by Dr. Nathan Mordel. I read all the glowing Google reviews before, and they almost seemed a little..."too" glowing. Not anymore. It's 3/22 and I feel great- almost too great because I have to remind myself my insides still need time to heal. I was worried about scarring, but I have 3 very, very small marks on my stomach that will not be visible after some time. I personally did not want to have my cervix removed and it proved challenging to find a doctor that would even entertain that. He heard me. He knows what he is doing, the staff know what they are doing, the Benefits Manager Freedom knows what she is doing. My Piedmont hospital stay felt like checking into a hotel and the nurses were precious and very kind to me. I had so many fears about getting a hysterectomy and not one of them was of valid concern. My gratitude to Dr. Mordel and each professional I encountered along they way is simply immeasurable. This IS a real review and I AM a real person living in Atlanta.
