My family and I were out to brunch at Breakfast at Barneys. The area is a high-traffic area with a lot of vehicle break-ins. We decided to use the valet service due to this reasoning- believing that our vehicles were in good hands. Boy, was I wrong! The valet guy returned the vehicle with a busted back window and my sister's purse stolen. He nonchalantly said to “file a claim”. It took two days for her window to be replaced, the company denied the claim stating they weren't liable for the damage. Trying to patronize a business ended up being a nightmare because of the negligence of this company.

The valet at Breakfast at Barneys are crooks. They parked my wife and sister cars in a unsecured lot which they got broken into. Mind you, I paid for valet parking. The told us that they are not responsible. It's costing us $500+ to get the window replace, plus the money we paid for valet. Do not let them park your car.

I valet parked my car with National Parking's Valet service and the valet returned my car with a broken back window and items taken from my car. When the valet returned my car and I asked the valet about the broken back window, he said he didn't see the broken window. I learned that the valet parked my vehicle in an unsecured lot separate from the other valet vehicles. It was in that seperate lot that my car was damaged and broken in to with items stolen from my vehicle. I filed a claim with National Parking who stated that they are not liable for the damage to my vehicle. My sister's car also was taken to the seperate lot and broken in to as well. The valet drivers were sent home early before they could be questioned by police. Again, National claims no liability.
