Issue 1: Most recently, I drove all the way to their location and contacted them when I was stuck in traffic a few minutes from the site to let them know I would arrive a few minutes after the appontment time. Upon calling, I was told that my name did not appear in their system for an appointment that day. I had scheduled my appointment in person with the front desk rep for 2 days this week, Monday and Friday, but she apparently only logged me for Friday. While mistakes happen, what makes this matter a terrible experience is that it isn't the first occurence and they made no attempt to try to fit me into the schedule for the day even though it was their own error. Instead, I had to drive all the way back home.
Issue 2: Prior to the above issue, I appeared at the facility for an appointment a couple of weeks ago and was told that I wasn't showing up the system. I confirmed that I was scheduled for every Friday and provided the name of my usual therapist. One of the physical therapists agreed to see me and while she looked up my file in the system, she realized there was a glitch that day that showed me as "not signed out" from my last visit. I had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for the glitch to be rectified so that I could be seen. Had this therapist not agreed to take me in addition to the patient she was working with, the front desk rep would have sent me home...even though this error was clearly not my fault.
Finally, I would like to note that my former occupational therapist was terrific. However, I am highly disappointed in the administrative services at this facility.
