We found both Clay and Haden Henderson to be honest and highly professional realtors. They listened to us, heard our concerns for the future of our beloved two hundred year old homes future and worked hard to convey its beauty and assets to the public. When we encountered problems in the negotiations, they were right there to work out the kinks. Their promptness was crucial in the process, and we were thankful for their professionalism and attention to detail. Matt Farley in the office was so good in contacting us about every detail that needed our attention, too. We highly recommend this team to anyone in the market for realtors who possess both honesty and integrity. We would certainly use them again, should the occasion arise.

UPDATE: Clay called us back after he saw this review (and my wife called his parent corporation to let them know how awful the experience with him was), and was obviously just doing damage control. He still showed zero interest in fixing any of these issues, but can you blame him? He already got his commission check and can clearly just take the hit on Google. He has his name on a contract his clients signed in bad faith, and hes totally ok with it. If youre selling through Clay and his associates, youll probably be happy, especially if you plan on breaching contract and signing bad faith agreements. Buyers Beware of Clay and Hayden Henderson. Clay was the selling agent on our home in McDonough. The sellers did not fulfill everything in the contract (ex. they were supposed to take care of the rodents in the attic, which never happened and we are still dealing with the consequences and expenses of), the house was disgustingly filthy, and they didnt keep the house in good shape once we were in escrow (they shut off the AC at the end of Georgia Summer, causing mildew issues, issues with the fridge and caused us to require a mold test). When we or our realtor have tried to get in touch with him or his son Hayden to address these issues, they have consistently not responded to our calls, ignored the emails we have sent them (which they asked us to do when they DID answer us, by the way) and have just proven that their clients being in breach of contract is not their problem. We tried to settle this privately, but now we feel its our responsibility to warn others of this unacceptable business behavior.

Our extensive relationship with Clay and Haden began in 2011. During the ensuing years we have had the pleasure of working with Clay, and now with both he and Haden, on 7 different transactions. Their knowledge doesnt pertain to just one area. They have sold and helped us purchase properties from Fayetteville to Henry County, on the lake at Oconee, and now to Cherokee County. While every transaction had its own particulars, they have always approached them individually in determining the best way to highlight the feeling and essence of each. This is not a situation in which each property is just another routine transaction. They give their utmost attention to every detail.
