Absolute lack of care. Its a waste of time to try to get an appointment here as you have to be seeing an Emory Neurologist in order to get an appointment with a psychiatrist but can only get an appointment with a Neurologist if you have a diagnosis from another doctor that requires a Neurologist. It seems like they are doing their best to avoid helping people/doing their jobs at all costs. i wasnt surprised to see their rating on here. Please do better.

I liked my doctor, but its incredibly frustrating and basically impossible to do anything from making an appointment (you take the time and date youre given, or youll be playing phone tag for days), asking a simple question (well leave a note I have never received a reply or call back), to requesting a refill (another note left- count on calling back and spending 1 hr+ getting lucky enough to get someone on the line who is capable of helping). I have spoken to at least 5 people this week desperately trying to get a refill for my medication which is now completely out. Why is this so difficult? Now Im scrambling to find a non Emory office who will actually help and willing to see me on a Saturday. The first woman I spoke with was almost intentionally unhelpful and short with me. Who has the time to be on the phone constantly trying to get one thing done when it would take a 2 minute conversation to resolve it at any other office? I will be finding a new doctor and never using Emory Psychiatry again.

Went to Emory emergency room for a psych evaluation, they told me to call this number to schedule an appointment with an Emory psychiatrist. So I called the number, the woman asked why I needed a psychiatrist appointment, I told her the ER had referred me that I suffer from depression and anxiety, and she said she could not schedule an appointment for me? Like why did the ER A.) give me the number B.) let me leave when their psychiatric department is so useless. I went for help and resources, and I thought this place was supposed to help mentally ill individuals like myself. But I guess the only way to get help here is attempt suicide and end up as an involuntary hold instead.

Wow, this is suppose to be a highly respected hospital. The leaders if this place truly need to evaluate their leadership and services. Based on these reviews the whole leadership team needs to be removed, period.
