My husband has been on short term disability since March 2018, it was a hassle just to get a check by weekly. Eric Johnson our claims rep actually went on vacation and did not mail our check until he returned. Very unprofessional, bills still need to get paid regardless! Now my husband has moved to long term disability, Tyeisha King is our case manager. She has refused to call us back, we have called and left messages on 10/15, 10/16, and twice on 10/17. Every time we call, we get she's on the phone. Well, I guess it nice to know she has returned some one else's call! I spoke to her in early Sept. all she needed was some more information from my husband's employer to get our claim approved. Then the claim will go to their underwriter team, and after approval a check should be mailed out in the middle of October. Today is 10/18/18 and no check in the mail or a courtesy call. I agree will ALL the reviews I have read about this company. All reviews are very negative. When my husband returns to work, we will cancel this policy and perhaps go with AFLAC. All I have read on AFLAC is positive reviews.
