O'Brien Garage Doors

Without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. 2 months ago I wanted to get my garage door opener replaced because it is 10+ years old. I bought a new garage door opener and scheduled time with this company to replace it. Their "expert" shows up and tells me the garage door opener is fine, no need to replace anything. I tell him I bought the parts already and wanted to replace it, he assures me that the one I currently have set up is still in great condition. So I take his word for it, I can return the new one I bought and save some money. I still have to pay a service fee even thought he did not do any work. Ok, no problem, happy that the garage door is still good so I don't mind. 2 months later the garage door opener breaks. Their "expert" doesn't know what he is talking about apparently. I call today and try to get someone out here to replace it, hoping to get at least a discount because of the situation. The first call goes to voicemail. the second call gets answered, and the receptionist says the system has no record of anyone ever coming to my home. I don't have the paper invoice so there's no way for her to verify anything I said is true. She then offers to send someone out to my house 4 days from now. I tell her that I no longer wish to give them any of my business. What a joke, I would give you 0 stars if I could. Made a call to a different company and they are sending someone out here in 2 hours.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Phone is always busy, no one answers or calls back. Had someone come out in February to start my installation, said it was a 2 man job and would call back to reschedule and never did. When I finally got ahold of someone they fed me a BS story, guy apparently told the owner the garage was to crowded to work even though he told me it was fine. Was supposed to come back out to finish the job 3 months later and never showed. Called again after taking off work to be here for the appointment only to be told they won't be making it today. Garage has been completely cleared for the job and nothing. Not to mention they already have half my money for this job they have yet to finish. I will be contacting the better business bureau and demanding my money back. As the owner of the company I would be embarrassed to have such an incompetent company. How they have 4.7 stars I have no idea!
