The new doctor and staff are way worse to deal with. It's a shame Dr Goodman are gone.

Dr Goodman is by far the best at what he does. He treats you with excellence and the utmost care, I never felt a thing! This was my 3rd root canal with him and I would highly recommend him and his office to anyone and everyone. Cant say enough!!!

I waited a few days after Dr. Goodman completed my root canal before writing this review because the procedure went so well, with ZERO pain throughout. Having had experience with root canals a decade or two ago, I thought, surely this would not be fun once the novacain wore off. But the Plan A post-op recommended treatment schedule of ibuprofen and acetaminophen did the trick! Although available, the prescription for stronger pain meds was never needed. I know this is setting the bar pretty high, but my experience was such that I'm giving Dr. Goodman and his staff 5 huge stars!! (I must include a shout out to my regular dentist, Dr. Shuster, for his and his staff's efforts of diagnosis and coordination with Dr. Goodman's office...which included finishing the filling, after the root canal, on the same day!!)

Dentists are scary and root canals are scarier. Dr. Goodman and his team took all that concern and fear out of the situation. My experience began with his receptionist, Laura. Shes delightful; a jokester with a calm and soothing tone. She made everything easy and is always super accommodating. Then I met the man who gives the best damn root canal treatment Ive seen on earth. A root canal he hilariously signed off on as an authentic Ohio state Root Canal since he hails from Ohio Dr. Goodman walked me meticulously through the entire process and explained everything down to the letter. He was detail oriented and highly professional but not uptight. He has a kind of suave demeanor where he may present as initially aloof but youll quickly find hes the coolest and nicest dentists youll ever have the unfortunate need to meet. The pre-op was easy. Dr. Goodman is an expert in his craft. Something about my visit that shocked me is that during the numbing procedure - where they stick a needle in your gum there wasnt a single bit of pain and let me tell you - they numbed me up so well I stayed numb for 8 hours after. During the entire procedure I didnt feel a single tinge of pain and throughout the entire process Dr. Goodman would explain what he was doing and tell me how things were going. Hed also go the extra mile and assure I was feeling okay and there was no pain. Afterward he showed me the x rays and explained all the science and goings on of what he did. He explained that he even went back to clean out .25mm of infection in a curved canal. They tediously explained the aftercare several times over to be sure I understood everything and they prescribed copious pain meds and were sure to follow up and keep track of me. I hate that you are on Google looking for a root canal specialist - but in my opinion you would be hard pressed to find an endodontist better that Dr. Goodman and his staff. I wish you the best of luck and wholeheartedly recommend these people for your dental work.
