The phone number on product bottle 800-805-help is nothing but adds trying to sell you services that have nothing to do with Zep. You never get to representative, it just disconnects. Deceitful and borderline illegal

There should be a no stars category because Zep doesn't deserve any. Customer service is horrible! Beware.

If I could give this company less than 1 star I would!!! We purchased ZEP High Traffic Carpet Cleaner and I just about poisoned myself. The title is misleading!!! No where on the front of the bottle does it say "do NOT use in a carpet shampoo machine! Yet, if you breath in these toxic fumes in an area not well ventilated it can have serious consequences to your health!!!! After using in it my basement laundry area (no windows) we used this product as a shampoo carpet cleaner and as it was drying it was going into the vents throughout my house. The next day I didn't feel well. I decided to look at the ingredients source of this product since it couldn't have been anything else. I had to call the company to find out what the "WARNING" ingredients were because I could not find the ingredients list. Not only does this product contain a highly toxic ingredient- it could cause serious damage to your health. I discussed this with the company and they told me to "rinse" the carpet over and over as necessary but I realized, if I do that, it will continue to release toxic fumes every time it dries. I was unwilling to put myself, my family, or my son at further risk to our health! We literally had to RIP UP that utility carpet and replace it with something new. I told the company they should be responsible for the damages and they said they wanted copies of my receipts for expenses, which I provided and guess what??? I NEVER heard back from them at all! They figured I would just go away and that would be that. Well, here I am and I wish I could shout this from a mountain top so that no man, woman (parents) would EVER expose themselves or their children to such a horrible, toxic, product!!!!! I told the company they need to change their labeling to inform the consumer this is NOT for a a carpet shampoo machine. There was absolutely no commitment from them to do that. I am a "mom-against-toxins" and I will make a YouTube Video about this product so I can reach as many people as possible! Warn the people you love and care about. Again, the product is by the company ZEP and the product is ZEP High Traffic Carpet Cleaner! If you are brave enough to buy ANY of their products, please------Don't use it until you look at the warning label and the ingredients list and make an informed decision!!! This company wants to make a buck off of you but don't give a damn about your health! Stay Well and Stay AWAY from this product!
