They are the reason I canceled any further appointments for my entire family at any Wellstar office. They are continuously billing me a self pay amount when I have insurance that already paid them for a surgery. Not one person even in escalating this to management understands how billing works. I now have my insurance and an attorney involved. They STILL gave me the same response. They are absolutely INEPT. Having worked in billing for years I am APPALLED at their lack of knowledge and customer service. Be aware.

*warning* PT solutions is affiliated and billed through Wellstar and the prices are hyper inflated! As instructed by my ortho, I set up my pt to be started after my total hip replacement. I picked PT solutions canton west because of location and reviews. I was told that I was covered by insurance and it would be a $20 co-pay for each visit and I signed the paperwork.
After 3 months I'm told by pt solutions that I'm not covered and owe nearly $30,000. This was found and reported to me by pt solutions and NOT Wellstar. This was due to the fact that I needed a new script for my other hip that was to be replaced in that 3rd month. My insurance stated that they covered me but through a third party. Wellstar was not submitting the claim correctly and if they had, I could have avoided getting caught in the middle of this mess. I have been fighting this for well over a year. I got my insurance to pay roughly $20,000 of the cost but they will not pay any more due to the insane pricing. I'm now stuck with an $8,000 bill that Wellstar will not reduce for self pay individuals because of the age of the bill. Of course, Wellstar blames my insurance and not their pricing. Im beyond frustrated and feeling hopeless

The company I work for does the HVAC here. I am really impressed with their corporate office. Very nice people to work for. Great food, too!

I have been sick with Chrones Disease for over 30 years.I am now in the final stages of my disease.On Nov.7,2023 I went to the Wellstar Pauding ER.I spent eight hours trying to be treated.For the second time I was put in a hall way behind a curtain and completely ignored.I couldnt go to the bathroom,I could call for a nurse,and I could get them to help me.I finally said I was leaving.Of course then came the threats,(ama).I told her it wouldnt work since I had been there eight hours,still waiting.I never saw a doctor I got a nurse practitioner They have two standards of care.A year prior I was placed in a different hallway this time I was to sick to ignore..I am now into Jan.2024.No support from them,no answer of why I was shoved in a hallway behind a large bin,and ignored.The second I began leaving,they did vitals,the nurse finally came back.I understood my condition was not their priority one nurse commented I had been there as long as she had.I have a very high copay,but do they adjust the cost for the hallway people ? My people apparently because thats who they stick in those beds.Last time I insisted they move me.This time there was no one to tell.I continued being sick at home for at least a full week.I was told they saw nothing on the CT Scan.That too was a lie.My interest read the report to me a full month later.I am afraid to go back.I dont want to die there in a hallway,and I shouldnt have to be afraid to seek medical care.

Student went to Urgent Care and ER twice within 4 days for something that could have been treated in Urgent Care the first time. Now, they are seeking payment for 4 visits. PLease train your medical staff to provide teh best service, the first time. What othe rindustry gets paid for not fixing the issue?
