Best restaurant/event space near the park. My wife and I were married at Park Tavern - they did so much to make our experience as stress free as possible. They went above and beyond to make our day special, and we have no complaints. Now we enjoy the restaurant as often as possible, every time we visit the park. Especially during large events at the park, we love to post up near the Tavern. It's always comfortable and fun

Look. Location is ideal and staff is so nice. BUT the food and drinks are not it. I got chips and queso for $11 and it was a bowl of queso and two bags of Pita chips. I got a Ranch water (usually sparking water, tequila, and lime) that was purple and tasted like perfume for $14. Just so overpriced for being straight up bad. Just keep it simple and get like a beer if you come here.

As a disabled veteran, I am only looking to spread a good message, hope, love and light. I went to Piedmont Park when a guy from Park Tavern said that I couldn't setup near his bar; but there is a sign at the bar entrance talking about being kind. To say the least, he didnt show kindness to me. Said I could go anywhere even to the dog park.

Came here on Valentine's Day! ***LOCATION***In the tavern in Piedmont park. They have an ice skating rink, that is pretty small but really cute! There's paid parking out front in the lot. ***ATMOSPHERE***I've been here before and it wasn't super crowded last time and this time it was pretty empty which was great for us so we could have plenty of room to skate. The vibe is cool and there is even a bar you can skate up to for drinks!***PRICE***It's alright, I think it was around 15$. It's not too much but the rink was very small, had it been crowded it would've been much less fun. You also have to pay for parking in the lot out front. I think we paid a few dollars! ***CONCLUSION***Definitely a cool indoor rink, just try to come when it isn't crowded so you can have plenty of space :)

Oysterfest 2023 - 3/4It was awesome!!!! The oysters (raw) were very good. They appeared to be Gulf from the size and salinity. Typically I don't eat the larger ones due to the size because they are not as tasty as smaller ones. I was not let down!!!! Really wish I had inquired...The fried shrimp was very well seasoned and tasty, but the fried oysters were not. I'm sure it was the same batter as the shrimp and we all know the textures are different, but the fried oysters seemed to be wet and the batter did not stick to them very well. Everything has to be paid by a ticket which you can purchase upon entering or select a station once inside to purchase. My friend and I both purchased 6 tickets (49.00) and if you don't use them all, you can redeem them for a refund upon leaving. The downfall to this is that we asked where to get this done and we were told by 3 different staffers that it was in the parking lot...We were sent on a goose chase. 2 others did not know and as we re-entered the building, we shot our shot and asked one more person and it was upon exiting where it was located. Signage would have been great. Other than that, it was a nice event!!!!
