We moved here because the town homes are very spacious for the price. We planned on only being here for about a year or 2, which is the right amount of time. When you call the office, they aren't friendly. The machines in the gym are broken often, and our gate has been broken and propped open for a month. The walls are thin, so it depends on the neighbor if you have a quiet space. There seems to be something wrong with the ovens since we've seen 2 apartments catch fire in the last 2 years, and almost had one in our own. The kitchens are definitely poorly ventilated, by not having any ventilation at all. We were told that we would keep our initial price when the prices of the apartments went up by a man in the office, but when the prices went up, they said that was a mistake and we are now paying more. Needless to say the organization and customer service is not adequate, but if you want space for cheap and a good pool, then this is your place. On the plus side, the town homes are very spacious, and the pool is AMAZING in the summer. They do have a dog park, which is a plus if you have a dog.

I have lived in the apartments for about 7 months. While the apartments are reasonably priced and moderately renovated (although its obvious they cut corners, but you get what you pay for), this place is not worth the price. Our apartment, and many other apartments were burglarized this January. When the police came they said this is a common occurrence. I also asked the leasing office why they never sent a notice to the residents that there had been a number of break ins and they said that the owner chooses not the send notice of these events. Not long after this, our neighbors were also burglarized. A couple of weeks ago I had to call 9-11 at 2:30am because there were multiple gun shots right outside our apartment. The management has no concern over the safety of the resident. They say since they have unmarked patrol cars that that would be preventing these issues. It doesn't. Companies that provide patrolling services are not allowed to do anything other than call 9-11 if something is suspicious. Plus, they don't even serve as a deterrent since they are in unmarked cars (if they even exists anymore... I haven't seen those cars in a while). The gates are always broken, too. Even though this may be a result of residents tailgating, the management office knows that this means this location is constantly less secure than what little security the entrance gates provide. Yet they don't increase security that is proportional with the reality. The safety of the residents is what is most worrisome in this apartment complex. I make sure to tell everyone I see what happened to us, and to many other apartments, since they are not given notice. Many of us have big french doors, which is from where the robbers enter, and we have all our living room and backyard items on full display to entice the burglars. Yet, people are not aware and therefore don't take the precautions they would if they knew getting burglarized here is apparently part of your living experience. We are leaving the moment our lease ends, since we're graduate students and did not budget our loans for the resulting increased rent when we move. But if the funds were available we would not spend one minute here. I still come home every day and check to make sure we still have our belongings. If you live here...please be careful. If you are thinking of living here: don't.
