Update: Best complex I have lived in. You won't regret living here if you're looking for a low-maintenance living option in a great area. My roommate and I lived here in a 2bdrm, 2bath June 2019-June 2021 and have had a great experience. Leasing consultant Erick was fantastic in helping us pick a great apartment and have an easy move-in, and everyone in the office we've interacted with since move-in has also been great. Pros: -Great floor plan, very clean and updated appliances (and kitchen island) -No bugs! (and we live on the first floor, so that's saying something) -Location is great: walkable to SunTrust Park and all the Chattahoochee River trails, as well as to various restaurants and movie theater -Free Mon-Fri morning grab and go breakfast -Very pet-friendly; my dog loves getting treats whenever we visit the leasing office or breakfast area; fenced-in dog park; dog wash area (great if you have the room with a shower, not tub); two pet runs on the first floor -Beautiful courtyard and pool, as well as rooftop with skyline views and decent fitness center; well-lit hallways -Great amount of visitor parking, as well as gated parking garage for residents -Free book each month and reimbursement on some Atlanta-area activities -Valet trash Mon-Thurs & Sat -Non-smoking community; generally very clean throughout as well Cons (if you can call them that, no big ones): -Have to pick up some packages in the leasing office, so if you don't get home until post-6pm, that can be tough, since they don't open until 10am -Have to provide/install your own fans and washer/dryer (some apartments)

I've loved living at Walton Riverwood for the past 3 months. I moved in in May and have been pleasantly surprised by how well the community is ran and managed. My unit is beautiful with ample space for the price, we get grab and go breakfast during the week, and the workers really seem to care about their jobs at the community, from housekeeping to maintenance. I feel safe here, and love how dog friendly it is. My neighbors are pleasant and I really don't have any complaints which is a first for me since living in apartments. Any maintenance issues I have are promptly taken care of and I don't ever have many needs here. There's also a lot of community engagement events if you're into that stuff. My upstairs neighbors do walk pretty heavy, which is unfortunate, but I don't blame the apartment for that, and it's really the only noise related complaint I have. I do wish the units came with laundry and that they wouldn't "reserve" the elevators at times, which makes it hard to get to my side of the building without taking the long way but that's nitpicky. Definitely glad I decided to move here, it's the perfect location and a great place for me.

I lived at Walton Riverwood for about 2.5 years, and it's one of the best apartment buildings in the area. It's a great location, and reasonably priced, at least when compared to others nearby. You can walk down the hill to the Chattahoochee and its accompanying trails or you can walk about a mile up Cobb to get to the Battery (but you're still far enough to avoid being affected by gameday traffic). Plus, there's a MARTA bus stop right outside the building that'll take you down to Midtown station or anywhere along the way. You're also right by both 75 and 285, which will help you get most anywhere in Atlanta pretty easily. Everyone in the front office is friendly and helpful. I had only very minor and routine maintenance issues while I lived there, and they were all addressed within hours of submitting a maintenance request. I had nearly no pests/bugs in my apartment. There are a few "above and beyond" amenities that make you feel like building management cares - free grab & go breakfast on weekdays, a free book of the month, and free or discounted access to many Atlanta attractions to help you get to know the area. There's a good mix of residents, young and old and from many different backgrounds. I never went to many of the apartment events, but they're definitely available if that's your thing. There's always plenty of parking for residents and usually plenty for visitors too. My only complaint is that trash valet is mandatory and inconsistent, but that's true of almost all Atlanta apartment buildings in this tier, so it's not really fair to hold it against this one. What more can I say? If you're looking for an apartment in the area, Walton Riverwood is a good choice.
