The positives of the neighborhood is the great location with walking trails, the town square with Savi Provisions, and the friendly neighbors. Upon our first week moving in our apartment started leaking throughout various parts of the apartment inside and out during heavy rain. Maintenance wouldnt visit until the rain stopped and then dropped off buckets to catch water. Follow up they claimed the leak was no longer prevalent (not raining) so they offered to paint over the water stains. After numerous complaints of the same reoccurrence an outside contractor was hired but the problem never fully fixed. Ultimately gave up complaining knowing it would go no where. During the summer the AC never worked properly due to no maintenance. At one point the thermostat read the humidity at 87% and I was told its normal for Georgia and living by the river. The apartments have mold and property management knowingly disregards and paints over it. Parking is hard to find as they dont monitor guests or enforce parking guidelines. While living there my car was not only broken in to but also side swiped. The apartments are poorly kept up with having to hound the leasing office for any basic requests only to be treated as if its a hassle even though its not an acceptable living standard. I would not recommend the neighborhood unless MAA puts in the investment to renovate. Its not a surprise long term tenants are leaving with a very high attrition rate in the leasing office as well.
