If I could I would give this place 0 stars. This is my first time doing taxes outside of my father (he was an accountant and recently passed) and so I decided to go to an H&R Block to get my taxes done. I came in, gave them my documents and explained my financial situation. Paid the fee and went home. Weeks went by without my return coming and on top of that when I would check the IRS website, it would say "records could not be found." When I looked through my tax documents I found out they filed my taxes under the WRONG social security number. I went back and had them redo it because they made the mistake. Two weeks later, I received a letter in the mail from the IRS saying I needed to verify my identity. Probably because these people messed up my taxes in the first place. And when I tried to do it, again the "records do not match what we have on file"popped up. Finally was able to call the IRS this morning and verify my identity. But as I'm speaking to the IRS representative, she's telling me that "whoever filled out your taxes made mistakes and you need to correct it." And these mistakes are costing access to getting my stimulus check. DO NOT COME HERE. The owner always comes late. No one ever picks up the phone. As we speak I'm in ridiculous line outside of the establishment because the gate is not open because...you guess it! The owner is not here. In this day of black excellence, this place is an EXTREME EMBARRASSMENT to black greatness.
