My adjuster, James, was awesome! Very attentive and responded right away. He made sure to answer all my questions and assisted through every step of the claim process. Auto owners is a great insurance company. I would highly recommend them!!

We had a customer of Auto Owners Insurance hit and total our Truck. The Agent Reed Painter handled our claim and after the first time we spoke he would never follow up or answer any calls or emails so I could find out the status on our claim. I never showed out or said anything out of the way. Just called to speak to the agent after they picked up our vehicle and got the Title. Everything time I called the receptionist said he was in and would give his voicemail and I left several messages for 2 weeks to which he never responded to. I emailed him with the same result! Why? I asked to speak to a manager and the receptionist said they would call that afternoon and they never did. Called the next morning and asked to speak to a manager again and said they never called and she said they were in a meeting. Left another message never heard back. I Started questioning myself if I had been scammed! Called the next morning and demanded to speak to a manager on duty and was put on line with Otto Hines and he took care of us that day and even walked my husband through a direct deposit on the phone. Mr. Hines was the only Professional of an excellent spirit that we spoke with in this company and he wasnt even the agent that had our claim! If you deal with anyone go through Otto Hines, not Reed Painter! I rate this Company with 1 star, but Otto Hines 5 stars!
