The debt collector that I talked to was extremely rude putting me on hold and trying to hang up on me while I was trying to make payments.

I spoke Mr. Russell who said that my only option is to pay in full and I would not an email saying that I paid in full until Monday. He said that there isn't any instant gratification over there. I told him that if I make a payment today, I should get receipt of payment today. He said no, the answer is no, zip, nada. You pay today and wait for your letter. He was rude. He cut me off and then would say you're talking over me now what do you want to say? And when I would start talking again, he would start talking over me and said, you're talking over me, now what do you want to say? Pathetic.

Absolutely rude! Nasty tone and all. I am paying on a debt that should have never gone to them anyway because I was trying to handle my business, for months, with the folks who never were unresponsive to me on my attempts to pay the a move out debt. I have my 60 days notice emails and acknowledgement from the landlord. I also have proof (emails and calls) to show I tried for months to reach the landlord and settle this. I even went over there to discuss the form of payment I need to make and how since their pirtal was closed to me. No one was availabIe or responded. I have never had anything of this nature on my credit report because I handle my business. The folks at NCS are unprofessional and rude. I made my first payment on their site and they still reported and it was really because I did not give them my bank account number. No. As long as I pay when I said I would, then there should not have been an issue unless I missed a payment. Then, ok, but they are so rude and nasty. I did not have an issue paying. I was sick and forgot my first payment on a Friday. I paid it on Sunday and thought that was an auto-pay setup, which I did not mind as long as I could add the acct info myself. Who just gived out their bank account number? Especially when the person calling does not even sound legit or professional. I had to ensure that first too. They reported me on Monday. Now this is on my credit report for 7 yrs even though it is going to be paid. Terrible.

Never thought I would be leaving a good review for a debt collector, but here we go.
In 2020 I got an apartment with someone I used to call a friend. We were doing well for about five months until friend became lazy. Bailed him out one month for not paying rent, but the next month I couldnt do it again. You couldnt file evictions during this time in my state so thats at least a relief. But we still got hit hard with a large bill sent to national credit. It was OK for a while until I decided to move to Florida with my now fianc. couldnt get approved anywhere. So I called national credit systems to resolve my debt and usually I wouldnt trust a debt collector at all. But the representative Candice Crump extension 199 said it would be removed from my credit report if I paid the balance in full. Knowing my former roommate would never pay the balance. I went ahead and paid it off and what do you know? They kept their word. Within about five days. It was off my report and I was able to get approved for a great place in Florida.
