I hope he is no longer licensed or active. I have a finished pool but have found not much was permitted or inspected and a red tag was ignored. I’m now having to hire an engineer and who knows what else to rectify this.

We chose Real Rock over other, more generic, companies because we liked the artistic side of owner, Jeff, and his vision. Having read reviews, we knew the pool might take a little longer with this company but we were confident that the end product would be worth the wait. Since we went into the project with that in mind, we were not disappointed or surprised that it did take about six months start to finish. We gave Jeff the time he needed to complete the vision and we are very happy with the end result. We have a beautiful rock waterfall into the pool and a matching rock firepit on the deck. Jeff added a rock covering halfway up a stucco pillar on the lanai that really balanced the look. Our pool has brought us great joy, both in its use and its visual appeal. I took away one star because it did take a long time to complete and Jeff was sometimes difficult to get a hold of. But we always felt that he was a decent, honest family man who really cared about our project’s end look. No regrets here.

Jeff Brennan with Real Rock Pools is a pool ponzi scheme, please be aware of this man and how he runs his business. He is very unprofessional and has not paid numerous sub contractors. There is a well known news story about him and Real Rock Pools if you simply take the time to Google his company. Do not allow his sad stories to talk you into working with him. Any money you provide him/Real Rock Pools be careful because it will not be appropriated correctly.

Don not give this man your money!! He is practically bankrupt, and is spending your money on everyone else's pool. He is literally robbing Peter to pay Paul. A ponzi scheme is correct. He took our second draw last year and never did any work on it from that. We (as well as countless others) have filed complaints with the DBPR and he is also currently being investigated by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. He has been underwater for quite some time, so don't expect to get anything completed. Hell, even Channel 8 investigated and interviewed him. He admitted to this on TV. We ended up having to hire another builder, as well as hire an attorney to try and get our money back. He doesn't even respond to complaints to the BBB because he knows he's at fault. There is nothing he can do. He just keeps hoping people won't do their research and give him their money. If you get taken, it's on you. You've been warned!!
