Ob Garden Center

Very disappointed in this company. I feel like they don't care about customer service at all. When we called after ordering 2 pallets of bahia grass it was sooooo dry and crumbled it was very difficult to lay, the secretary said thats how it is and there is nothing they can do about it but send someone over to tell us how to better take care of the grass. They need to learn to take better care of the grass before delivering it to a customer. Now when we need sod again, we know better than to choose this company. BAD SERVICE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TERRIBLE GRASS, WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY?

We ordered sod and requested afternoon delivery. We called them at 3:30 in the afternoon since no one called us and we had no sod truck in our driveway. They told us they will be dropping it off at 7:00 in the evening and not the afternoon. I had people to help lay the sod but they had to leave before 6:00 PM. At 7:30 the sod shows up. The driver starts bitching at me that the street was too narrow for his forklift to fit. I explain to him that I told the office to let the driver know the street was narrow and showed him that in the notes of the documentation he gave us. He calmed down after that. The sod it self looked fair except it was loaded with FireAnts and weeds. This company has way too much drama that I would never use them again. We still have to sod our front yard next. We will be finding another company.

I bought sod from them for the front of my house , they were quick to do the install but used multiple types of Grass instead of the one type i ordered , when i called them they cam out and replaced some of the grass with another kind of grass that was still different than the rest of my yard. (They use left overs from other jobs ) . The sod they used was also sick with fungus and when i called them to come and fix it about 5 days after the install when patches started to die on their own , they guy told me they would be out in a couple of days , they didnt show up, i called again they said they would be out in another few days and no one showed up, they waited till it was 30 days after the install then they same guy that was telling me he would come out and correct it since 5 days after the install told me that it was my fault that those patches died and that they would not come and fix them , this is after they promised me on 8 calls that i made to them that they would come out and fix it. Other sod people warned me about ob and i didn't listen but hopefully someone who reads this will . I was also told buy the people that fixed my sod after ob did the install that they go in to Google and give themselves good reviews so be aware of that.

I ordered Sod from them last summer and it came in with weeds and fire ants. I was going to replace it until I read further reviews on here. Be very cautious when reading reviews, especially when "Great reviews" are all lumped in a few days in a row or on the same day. That is a planted review from the company. The prices might be cheaper, but in all honesty the quality is not there. Sorry OB you lost a repeat customer.

I called OB Gardent Center on a Monday and I was treated very nice on the phone. Placed an order for some Bahia Sod which was to be delivered the following morning. The Sod arrived and nearly 95% of it was brown and appeared dead. All of it was covered in this gray dust which seemed like some sort of preservative. It wasnt until nearly all of it was down that I realized the dust was actually the dirt on the bottom of the sod. It was so old and dry that it started to turn into dust. When they delivered the sod, the forklift operator ran over several plants which later died. He also tore up most of the grass in my front yard. Four weeks after installation, watering, and adding fertilizer... Yard looks almost dead. I recommend finding a different company.
