My child has Autism and Mrs. Antoinette has been great with ensuring that he is well taken care of. Although I'm sure there are many others who deal with him on a regular basis, I'm also appreciative of his teacher Mrs. Pebbles. He loves it here and knowing my child, it's because he feels comfortable and safe. I've tried other places, but this is BY FAR the very best daycare in this area. Mrs. Antoinette, thank you for all you do. It does not go unnoticed!!

I worked here and also had my son enrolled here. As a parent there was a lot of things that did not sit right with me here but there was a lot I did not notice until I started working here. First, it is very unclean here. My child has been attending daycare since he was 1 and never had got sick so many times until he started going here. He even had to be hospitalized in September because they were not giving him water throughout the day and he ended up getting very dehydrated. Mind you he started coming here in August. When he was in the 1 year old classroom it was always cold... now I know the temperature the room is suppose to be set to. Not only was the room cold but it was filled with mold. Even the ceilings had fell! When he moved to the two year old classroom he didn’t get sick as much. The room was in better condition but there were still a lot of things that needed a deep cleaning. His teacher Mrs. Stephanie was absolutely great! Just like many of the other teachers there such as Ms. Tammy B, Ms. Pebbles, and Ms. Lilly. Now, from an employees viewpoint, I never seen a director not care for the wellbeing of the staff AND kids. Here’s a great REAL example. Back in November there was some epidemic going around the school. More than half of the kids were very sick at the same time. Now I am very aware that during this season there is a lot of sickness going around. However, when 9 kids in one class all are throwing up at the same time doesn’t that raise some red flags????? Another issue here is there is not enough staff, but I understand why the staff that was there, like myself, quit. There’s a lot of times when rooms are out of ratio. Ms Antionette wouldn’t really care unless she knew licensing was coming for an inspection. In my class there were 20 kids on the roster... mind you I was the three year old teacher and the ration for that age range is 1:15. Now I asked so many times for Ms Antionette to find another teacher for the room but she just would say things like “the ratio is 1:15†which I was well aware of but that doesn’t mean a teacher needs to be alone with 15 kids. It just means that’s the MOST a teacher can be alone with. When I gave my two weeks notice that I would be leaving the center and my son would be leaving also, Ms. Antoinette became very nasty towards me. When I told her she was being very rude to me, she even said “today can just be your last day†when in fact I still had two more days until it would be the day I was planning on making my last day. She should not be a director. She doesn’t do a good job... and I’m not saying that because I no longer work there. I’m saying that because I am very knowledgeable in how a childcare center should be ran. I worked there for 6 months and in those 6 months, 7 teachers quit. The staff is so great but management is horrible. Before you enroll your child here or even try to apply for a job here, go look at different centers and make comparisons. Trust me, you will see the difference! There’s so much negative things I can say that went on here, like the plumbing issues, not sending sick kids home, or management giving employees a hard time when they’re sick and have to call out. I got “in trouble†for going home when I had a fever of 102.5 and another teacher coming in saying she was here to release me. They wanted me to work the rest of the day with my fever. This is not a place a recommend to anyone. I wish I could take all the teachers there and move them somewhere else because they are truly great. I pray this place gets a new director ASAP. She’s going to get this place shut down!!
