I hired a Mike Kelley and Point West to do work on my daughters home, an old frame home that needed extensive repairs, including all new sub floors and repairs to the support structure in the crawl space. As the product of a military education (I am a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy, I had faith in Mike Kelley and his claims of being a graduate of West Point. Places like West Point are known to build men of character and Mike Kelley doesn’t have any. Mike Kelley visited the home several times over a two year period, quoting a price of $20,000 to fix the home. It was one of the worst and most expensive mistakes I have ever made. Mike Kelley did not even start most of the work he was contracted to do. What work was done by Mike Kelley and his “crew” was of exceptionally poor quality. For example, the expensive vinyl flooring I paid an additional several thousand out of pocket cost for was incorrectly installed and peeling/bubbling up throughout the home. I cannot image anyone hiring Mike Kelley as an engineering when Mike Kelley and Point West cannot even install simple vinyl plank flooring correctly. I did not get workers who strives for excellence. I got a foreman name Victor Soto and a crew of non-English speaking and, I suspect, illegal/undocumented workers. These men were dropped off by a “foreman” named Victor Soto who left the men in supervised while my daughter was left in the home with them all day. Victor Soto’s behavior because erratic and often he would not show up until mid-afternoon, often acting strangely and looking as though he was hung over. After spending of $25,000 in the cash paid to Mike Kelley and additional materials purchased separately out of pocket, this house sits in a worse state than when Mike Kelley was hired. The kitchen was ripped apart and barely useable and Mike Kelley would not even fix a window that one of his workers broke. I will be taking legal gaction against Mike Kelley and Point West.

Tried to use them back on early 2018. Attempted to contact them for a quote, took weeks to get call back, showed up very very late at home, and then took MONTHS (3+ to be exact with me calling repeatedly to ask!) to get quote back to us with information that was a ridiculous price point. Flash forward two plus years and their "website has been hacked" and I am getting 4 to 5 fishing emails a day from them and the company's advice? "Oh, we use Go Daddy and this stuff happens. All of our emails were hijacked. Just block them"...so many unprofessional aspects to this company.
