Mechanic canceled our appointment twice. (Im in from out of town trying to get this repair done, so this is more than a little frustrating). Along the way, the labor cost changed from about $180 to $957 even though the repair didnt change. When I tried to call customer service from the YourMechanic app the call goes to an error message. I found a different number on their website and finally got a person who told me that the labor was 5.3 hours (from all that Ive read, it is not). Their site says labor rates range from $60-90 per hour depending on location, but my quote is $180 per hour. Terrible experience and Im back at square one. Only positive was the prompt cancellation (and hopefully prompt refund!)
