Sheyan Armaghani, MD

Dr. Armaghani is superb. His training, including where he did his fellowship in spine surgery and orthopedics, is outstanding. He has very substantial experience in diagnosis of spinal issues and in spine surgery. He listens carefully to ones recounting of symptoms. He asks good questions. He orders appropriate imaging and, once thats been done, explains the key image or images with clarity in terms a layperson can follow. With his explanations and marking the image in color, it is easy to see what is fine or OK versus what is the source of ones symptoms. He has a low-key manner, is friendly, and clearly cares about his patients. He seeks to avoid recommending surgery unless it is clearly preferable to alternative treatments. Surprise : I highly recommend him.
