Payed for a party bus with a bunch of friends months in advance. It was going to be such a good night but then last minute the day of the event they called and cancelled. Worst experience with them on the phone they where rude and cut me off.

i had a party bus scheduled for 2 months in advance. I collected money from the guests and spent it on drinks (cups, ice, liquor and mixers) for the evening. 3 hours before the bus was set to leave they called and canceled on me. i had to return everyones money and was stuck with $400 debt from what i spent on the event, which was a non-profit charity organized by me for my friends. i am stuck with tons of alcohol i cant return and i do not even drink. many were already on their way from other parts of florida, others had already went and bought a new outfit for the night. so embarrassing and unprofessional.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY While the staff were courteous, this company's internal processes are a mess. I reserved a bus for a party for my husband and several other couples, and then that afternoon found a comparable experience at a significantly lower price. I was well within the cancellation window, and still - now six months later and after dozens of calls - have not received the promised refund. I have received several apologies, a written note that it is going to be processed (this was in March, and it is now June), and every possible excuse under the sun. While extremely kind on the phone, they have expressed zero concern over how long it is taking and how much time I have had to invest to get my refund. Go with Mears - they will take great care of you at a much cheaper price, and our driver there was amazing.
